The Vice Rags "Jersey Boy"

As New Yorkers with Jersey ties, this song gives us a chuckle. “Jersey Boy” by The Vice Rags might very well be a new Garden State anthem. The song delivers a message felt by a lot of fellas on the other side of the river. The city will now have to compete with this rock and roll fueled attack.

Based on their Asbury Park roots, one can assume The Vice Rags have Bruce Springsteen in their musical DNA. There’s also hints of Tom Petty in words like “boy” and “curls.” Put it all together and you get a wild ride with a biting message: get back to New Jersey, where you belong.

If you live in the tri-state, try to catch these guys at a show. Watch your girls though.
