Leah Nobel continues to deliver well-crafted art with her latest release, “Slow Burn.”
The third single off Running In Borrowed Shoes, “Slow Burn” is an intimate masterpiece. It examines the kind of love that moves slower than the typically-depicted relationship — leaning toward coal over kerosene, and emphasizing power in the waiting. Nobel’s music deals with the roots of human emotions. She interviewed 100 people “from all walks of life” and used their stories as a muse for her album. Clever, smart, and sincere. We are always impressed by her heart and talent.
